Our Ministries
PŪAWAI CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Northcity has a range of programmes to help our tamariki grow and develop in God. On Sunday mornings there are programmes for children up to year 9, staffed by wonderful volunteers with a passion for children. The groups are Kea Kids (years 1-5), Kākāpō Intermediates (years 6-8) and Tūī Tots (under 5s). These run from 10:20am-11:40am. We also have an intermediates youth group that runs on a Thursday.
YOUTH MINISTRIES
NCY is our high school aged youth group. We meet regularly on Thursday nights (6:30-8:30pm) during the school terms. We have loads of fun activities in store for anyone who comes to hang out at youth, which includes bonfires, camps, car rallies, and a whole lot of other fun activities!
WORSHIP
We have an amazing worship team who provide worship on Sunday mornings.
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
Keep an eye out in the newsletter for upcoming women's events.
PRAYER MINISTRIES
Our intercessors pray together in the Whare Karakia every Wednesday. Other groups meet at the church or in homes to pray for our church, trust and community regularly.
NORTHGATE COMMUNITY SERVICES TRUST
Northgate Community Services Trust is the community arm of Northcity Church and our primary way of connecting with our local community. It runs Zion Studios, Big Papa's Kitchen and Make Me New Op Shop, and holds a free community meals every Wednesday. Services are all aimed at loving and serving those in our community and valuing people's worth.
